Junior & Youth Football

With modified rules and game structures, Junior & Youth Football provides all children with equal opportunity to experience playing AFL under an assigned coach in a safe and enjoyable environment.

 

Junior Football is for children in school YR 3-6 and are structured to ensure that children will only play with their own year group in our boys teams and combined years for the girls teams. Team training is one afternoon per week and games are played on Sundays. Season runs from 28/04/24 - 18/8/24 (excl. WA long weekend & July school holidays). There is no ladder or finals for Juniors. In 2024 we will have the following Junior teams in the Peel District competition:

  • Year 3 Boys      Year 3/4 Girls 

  • Year 4 Boys      Year 5/6 Girls 

  • Year 5 Boys

  • Year 6 Boys

 

Youth Football is for YR 7-12 and provides participants with the opportunity to play in a graded competition within a club environment. Team training is two afternoon's per week and games are on Sundays with the exception of Year 7 & 8 Boys teams who will play on Friday nights. Season runs from 28/04/24 - 18/8/24 excl. WA long weekend & July school holidays followed by 3 weeks of finals fixtures. In 2024 we will have the following Youth teams in the Peel District competition:

 

  • Year 7 Boys      Year 7/8 Girls

  • Year 8 Boys      Year 9/10 Girls

  • Year 9 Boys      Year 11/12 Girls

  • Year 10 Boys

  • Year 11/12 Boys

 

2024 Registration Fees

Junior Year 3-6: $200

Youth Year 7-12: $250

  • Peel District Player Participation Levy

  • Peel District Team Affiliation Fees

  • City of Mandurah High Impact Player Fee

  • City of Mandurah Facility Hire & Maintenance Fees including ovals, lighting etc

  • Player Insurance

  • PlayHQ Fee

  • Training & Game Day Equipment

  • Accredited Coaches

  • Peel District Umpire Fees

  • End of Year Windup (players only)

How to Register

Registrations for our 2024 season will open from 1st - 31st January 2024 for 'existing players' for our priority registration period. 'New/Transfer in' players and existing players who miss priority registration period, registrations will open from 1st February 2024 if there is availability.  To register click here: Register | PlayHQ

Financial assistance - KidSport

KidSport enables eligible WA children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance towards club fees.
